Card #33
Card #33
Configuration: 199 card set
Packs per box: 18
Cards per pack: 6
Refractor odds: 1:15 (estimated)
Notes: This was the landmark set where both chromium technology and refractors were introduced. It is believed that the approximate print run of refractors was 241 copies which equates to about 1:15 odds. This set is very condition sensitive and PSA 10 copies are extremely hard to find and exceedinly expensive.
Configuration: 503 card set
Packs per box: 24
Cards per pack: 4
Refractor odds: 1:12
Notes: Refractor lines and hazing are very common in this set.
Configuration: 165 card set
Packs per box: 24
Cards per pack: 4
Refractor odds: 1:12
Notes: This set has a lot of centering problems and as with most of the 90’s refractor sets, refractor lines are very common. At the time this was a super-premium brand and Topps only selected 165 cards from the regular 1996 Topps, making this is one of the smallest Topps Chrome sets ever produced.
